Meg Urie Rab

Meg began her career in corporate identity as Brand Development Manager at San Francisco-based, bath and body company, Essentiel Elements. Returning to Truckee in 2000, Meg co-founded and served as Director of Marketing for Gamet Technology, a casino software company in Reno, NV. In early 2005, she left the corporate world to start SmallPond Studio in order to freely explore her passion for design.

Meg enjoys sharing her marketing experience with local nonprofits and has served as a board member for the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe, the Stanford Alumni Club of Northern Nevada & the Sierra, and the Rotary Club of Truckee. She is an active member of the Truckee Chamber of Commerce and the Truckee Downtown Merchants Association.

Meg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University. She currently splits her time between Truckee and Auburn, CA.

At P O N D, Meg acts as creative director and project manager for all major accounts. Additionally, she serves as designer and copywriter on many of the agency's projects.

Shannon Reilly

Shannon is an award-winning graphic designer and illustrator who began her career in fashion marketing after graduating Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. Upon moving to Truckee in 1997, Shannon worked for various local companies, including Squaw Valley Ski Corp and the Resort at Squaw Creek, while freelancing for local hospitality and real estate clients. Prior to joining SmallPond Studio in 2007, Shannon worked as a graphic artist for the Sierra Sun, Truckee’s newspaper.

As a principal at P O N D, Shannon manages all major print and illustration accounts and serves as lead designer for brand development projects. She is based in Grass Valley, CA.

Renee Deinken

Renee has been working with the POND Collective team since 2007, initially for five years as director of web development and now as an affiliate. Whether it’s a small nonprofit website or a complex e-commerce system, she enjoys bringing to life the innovative and functional designs created by POND Collective’s graphic artists.

Like most web developers, Renee’s career path started with something entirely different. She graduated Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a journalism degree, moved to Truckee, and cut her teeth in design and content management as the assistant editor of the local newspaper. In 2006, she took an HTML class, fell in love with web development, and the rest is history.

Renee is based in Kings Beach, in North Lake Tahoe.

Will Porter

Will has been working with the POND Collective team since 2011, first for two years as an in-house developer at the former SmallPond Studio office in Truckee, then remotely as an affiliate. With a strong background in both design and development, Will is a versatile member of the POND team. After receiving a B.S. in Interactive Media from James Madison University’s renowned School of Media Arts and Design, he spent several years in New York City working at Situation Interactive, a top interactive agency. Will eventually opted for a change of scenery and moved to Lake Tahoe, where he has lived for the past 5 years with his dog Watson.
